Technical Writing

Note: While I spent nearly two years evaluating developer logs, finessing a quality improvement process and creating dozens of pages of instructional content for Epic, I do not have any to display. For one thing, Epic worked with dynamic, or “living,” guides, that were constantly added to as the software was improved and grew. Plus, as you can hopefully understand, those materials would include much too valuable proprietary information to keep or display. Rush University | August 2020

At Rush I led the much-needed overhaul of the student, faculty, and staff intranet. The overhaul included a technical transition from one software platform to another, a design/UI/UX upgrade, and an administrative change in responsibilities. I made this tip sheet to support users as they went about creating and editing their department pages. As opposed to much of my other technical writing, I injected a bit of personality into this sheet to put editors at ease.
